My fireplace was going off and on in an infinite loop. 2 people from the gas company came in did something and couldn’t fix it and asked me to call a fireplace technician. Looked through yelp and found Kings Fireplace. Based on the great reviews I gave them a call. The receptionist was super nice, took the time to answer all my questions and was very helpful. Today Yali came over and in less than 3 mins (yes you got that right) figured out the problem and fixed my fireplace. It you want a honest guy who knows his stuff call Kings Fireplace. Rates are extremely reasonable too when you compare it against service call rates from other companies.
Yali knows what he is doing. They were pretty booked up over Christmas when of course my old gas fireplace decided to die an untimely death but he got to me when he could afterwards . The new innards are very expensive but it’s great not to have to have a pilot light that blows out in high winds and has to be relit. This one is automatic and electric( battery you can replace). He painted the inside of my old fireplace black which looks so much better and the logs look great, the fire has a few different levels and looks lovely. Yali was great ! I dealt with a place in Burbank before and the fireplaces kept melting the wires leading to the remotes and the people wouldn’t come back and fix them- I wasted a lot of money. Such a relief to find someone good at this!
I recently moved and the fireplace was old and in really bad shape. The owners had burned wood for 37 years in a fireplace that was not wood burning. After getting outrageous quotes from companies, I called Yali who offered to come and give me a quote that day, free of charge. He came, he saw and he explained. Then he showed me what I could get. Though I had my heart set on wood burning, which I’d always had and loved, he explained why I couldn’t and shouldn’t go that route, and gave me gorgeous alternatives to phony – excuse me, artificial – logs. Then he installed the entire thing that same day, in addition to paining the interior of the fireplace, cleaning it up and seeing to the screen and door as well. His price was reasonable, his work was excellent and most of all, his demeanor was wonderful! I’m sure he makes friends wherever he goes. Trust him.

I was so pleased with the service I got from them. From needing a company that would come out to the Pacific Palisades area, to them fitting us into their schedule within a couple days, I could not have been happier with the experience.
I personally was not able to be there while they fixed our complicated high-tech fireplace. To them it was no problem, they replaced a wire and paired the remote to the fireplace. Now our fireplace works great, Yali was even able to explain the directions of how to work it to me over the phone. Thank you!!
